All three are rescues.  The dark cat was wild in the woods.  The Siamese's human mom was sick & had to give her away.  The little roly, poly dog is Polly Esther, the Chihuahua.  Her human mom moved back to Alabama and could not take her with her.  They all share the same bed.

My name is Shivers.  I'm old but hanging in there.  I was left at a vet's office with my siblings.  I was scared and shivering when my now dady came in to get medicine and saw me. He felt sorry for me so he picked me up and tucked me under his arm and away we went.

Hello, My name is Cleo.  I was found running (SOMETHING I DO WELL) around in a Goodwill parking lot in Tennessee.  Attempts were made to find my owner without any luck.  My now momma is a die hard cat lover but I have wiggled my way into her heart and the cats litter box.  My mom and I eat supper together most nights and she always shares with me.  The cats are beginning to like me too!  But I like it best when we go to bed and I get to snuggle with my momma.

My name is Foxy.  I was taken out into the country and dumped when I was in season.  The house that I stopped at to eat fed me and decided that I was a good watch dog. Since I didn't bother things they had me fixed and kept me.  I get along with the other dogs and goats but I do not like cats.  I am the official greeter at my house.

My name is Chica. I was taken to this home to be picked by someone else.  However, when I got here, I melted my daddy's  heart and he became my new daddy.  I stick to him like glue.  I am always in his shadow.  I get along with everyone.  (I got some new hair bows for Christmas.)

My name is Leroy.  I was rescued off 5 Points Road with the mange.  I had no hair and looked like a little pink piglet.  I found a wonderful home and get along with everyone.  This is  my buddy, Baby Girl, snoozing with me.

I am named Zip because I was found at the mail box.   Both of my legs were broken when I was found.  I had been without food 7-10 days and in a lot of pain.  I had to crawl and was covered in ant bites.  Through the BLC Humane Society, I was doctored and given a safe home where I have plenty to eat and lots of brothers and sisters.  I am a very happy dog now. See the next picture of me now.

Here I am walking with my  cat friend, Raphael, who is also a rescue with his sisters.  We play together and have lots of fun.  I can run now and sometimes just run for the fun of it.  The cold weather does hurt my legs though, but I am an indoor dog.

Here we are -  Raphael, Maya and Squeakers.  We came from a warehouse.  We were born in the walls with fiberglass insulation all around us.  The BLC Humane Soc. helped get us out of the walls (we were kind of wild then) but look at us now.  We are spoiled.  Our cat mama is still wild.  She lives in a barn as a mouser.  We guess it worked because all the rats are gone.

My name is Riley and I live the Life of Riley.  I was found very sick in a ditch when I was about 5 weeks old.  I had to be fed with an eye dropper for 2 weeks.  My momma took good care of me.  I look pretty tough, don't I ? But actually I am an easy going guy.  I stay inside because of my white ears and white hair which can cause me to get cancer from the sun.

Hi, I'm Billy.I went to live with a nice young man.

Hi, I'm Billy.I went to live with a nice young man.

Hi. My name is Dottie.  This is my mom.  We were at Petsmart last weekend.  I was walking around and saw my first mommas.  I recognized them and gave them a  big kiss.  I am so happy my tail wags all the time.

My name is Ginny and I am Dottie's sister.  I am the shy one in the bunch.  This is my mama and daddy.

I'm the brother of Dottie and Gin. My name is Tonto. I have two more brothers,  Paleface and Poncho.  I came from a large family and we did a lot of playing.

I'm the one called Paleface.  Looks like I am going to have someboy to play with after all.  I will be waiting for him when he gets out of school every day.

My name is Buddy and my daddy died recently.  I have been grieving for him.  This kind man stopped to talk to me and  and I really wanted him to take me home.

Toby (black and brown Doxie mix) and his new family.  Everyone was excited about getting together.

Buddy (a Chihuahua) and his mom.  They are having fun in the big city.  He is so special.  Her family baby sits him while she is working.

.Hi, I am a cockapoo and these nice people fell in love with my wonderful and curious personality. Look at the expression on my face (I tink I saw a bird).  They are making wonderful parents.

Myname is Shylah and I have the nicest family.  As you can see I think I like them.

My name is Macon. I was given a badly needed haircut and a bath, flea medicine,  neutered and given all my shots.  I also beg, sit and shake hands.  My mom is a groomer and can keep me in top shape.
